At the Westmoreland Institute for Lifelong Learning (WILL), advocacy is more than a service—it’s a movement toward equity, understanding, and transformation. Our partnership with AllyUp represents a new era of educational advocacy, one that places dignity, clarity, and accountability at the heart of every interaction.
AllyUp is a transformative initiative developed by Jennifer Dahlquist Ramirez, M.Ed., grounded in 32 years of classroom expertise, case-based legal literacy, and trauma-informed leadership. This original and comprehensive service for families and caregivers redefines advocacy through actionable practice, lived experience, and real-world legal insight.
Unlike traditional advocacy models, AllyUp centers:
Student Dignity — honoring every learner’s story and potential
Educator Clarity — providing tools that foster collaboration and transparency
Systems Accountability — promoting equitable practices through interactive, IP-protected frameworks
Together, WILL and AllyUp stand for families navigating the complexities of education—equipping them with knowledge, support, and a pathway to transformation.
Advocacy thrives in community. The AllyUp Network brings together dedicated professionals and families through three essential roles:
Field Allies — education professionals working directly within school systems
Family Allies — independent advocates and trusted community-based guides
Clinical & Community-Aligned Allies — therapists, clinicians, and care coordinators bridging educational, medical, and community systems
Through AllyUp, WILL amplifies its mission of lifelong learning and empowerment—helping families not only find their voice but use it to shape more just and effective educational systems.
Join the movement redefining advocacy and educational empowerment.
